چکیده
The radio frequency spectrum is getting more congested day by due to the growth of wireless devices, applications, and arrival fifth generation (5G) mobile communications. This happens because a natural resource that has restricted existence. Access all devices can be granted, but in efficient way. To resolve issue, cognitive technology come out as way, it possible sense neighboring. Spectrum sensing been recognized an important technology, networks, allow secondary users (SUs) detect holes opportunistically access primary licensed band without harmful interference. paper considers Energy Detection (ED) Matched Filter (MFD) techniques baseline for study where so-called Hybrid (Hybrid MFD) was proposed. Apart from analytical approach, Monte Carlo simulations have performed MATLAB. These aimed at understanding how variation parameters like probability false alarm, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) number samples, affect miss-detection. Simulation results show i) higher miss-detection achieved ED technique when compared MFD techniques; ii) More importantly, proposed outperforms terms ability presence user spectrum, alarm slightly lower than 0.5, low samples ratio.

Spectrum Sensing for Cognitive Radio Using Hybrid Matched Filter Single Cycle Cyclostationary Feature Detector
Spectrum sensing is an important task in cognitive radio (CR). Matched filter technique one of the techniques employed for spectrum sensing in cognitive radio which faces the challenge of low frequency offset tolerance in very low SNR environments. Hybrid matched filter architecture is used to improve this frequency offset tolerance. But, overall even such kind of architecture results in coarse...

The recent and rapid evolution of wireless technologies has led to a high demand in terms of resources. To solve this prob-lem the idea of cognitive radio has been introduced to facilitate a good spectrum management and efficient use of the spectrum. In this article, a method for the detection of the spectrum with the purpose of detecting the presence of bands of unoccupied frequencies is propo...
متن کاملSpectrum Sensing in Cognitive Radio by Statistical Matched Wevelet Method and Matched Filter
Cognitive radio draw lots of research attentions in recent years for its efficient spectrum utilization. In cognitive radio networks, the first cognitive task preceding any form of dynamic spectrum management is the spectrum sensing and identification of spectrum holes in wireless environment. Spectrum Sensing is an important functionality of Cognitive Radio (CR). Accuracy and speed of estimati...
متن کاملOrthogonal matched filter detection
In this paper we consider the generic problem of detecting a transmitted signal when one of M known signals is transmitted. Instead of using a classical matched filter (MF) detector, matched to the transmitted signals, we propose using an orthogonal matched filter (OMF) detector, which is matched to a set of orthogonal signals that are closest in a least-squares sense to the transmitted signals...
